Ex-libris mixes cyanotypes, laser prints and fine art prints around images of an old book restoration workshop. By using contemporary materials and old papers, the collection is a reminder of old publishing know-how but also of the first photographic processes put to sleep and recently reinvested thanks to current digital technologies. Far from confronting two eras, Ex-Libris on the contrary emphasizes the filiation of images through time and the richness of past techniques to broaden the field of contemporary photographic exploration.
