New York Tracks is a series of 19 photographic snapshots, each one printed onto several silver paper made from photosensitive emulsion. The target is the city of New York. These views are the end result of a process that is at once intended and accidental. The organization of images and the multiplying prints, always the same but never exactly so, consider the idea of variation through gesture and the process of appearance. The images exist at the line between visibility and the erasable, in the obliviousness of form. I look beyond the things and places photographed so as to reach their trace, already present in us.
